Jason and Dennis go on a Mission From God!

Jason and Dennis were in full caper mode Wednesday night as they stormed the liquor store to meet comedy legend Dan Aykroyd. A long line-up didn't dissuade the men as they pulled out all the stops to make sure that their Sketch-22 care package got into the hands the former Ghostbuster and SNL funnyman. It was almost over when a security guard approached the local comics and asked if they had been standing in the line-up the whole time. But then Trainor saved it with a superb bit of Derren Brown trickery by responding "Yeah, you probably see a lot of guys who look like us." To his credit, Rogerson refrained from laughing and kept a straight face. And the rest is history. They gave Mr. Aykroyd a Sketch DVD, T-shirt, poster, and business card. He asked about Sketch-22, how many in it, if the group has done any festivals. The Sketch boys offered him tickets to tonight's show, but unfortunately he had to decline since he's off to some other town today. He posed for a picture and said he would be sure to watch the DVD, adding that he'd pass it on to Dave Thomas! And thus the caper endeth. Stay tuned for news of the next great Sketch caper!
